ARMA-GEL+ sterile hydrogel dressing with bentonite clay 10×10 cm — a medical device for wound care, burns and other skin damage. The dressing has a hydrogel structure reinforced with mesh, providing strength and effective absorption of wound exudate.

The dressing was developed for use in military first aid kits based on recommendations from military personnel and medical professionals.

The hydrogel structure of the dressing moisturizes the wound, cools the affected area and creates optimal conditions for tissue recovery. The dressing does not stick to the wound, is easily removed during dressing changes and helps maintain the cleanliness of the wound surface.

The dressing contains bentonite clay, which has sorption and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps absorb toxins released from the wound and supports tissue regeneration processes.

Action of the dressing

ARMA-GEL+ hydrogel dressing:

Due to its hydrogel structure, the dressing can perform the function of temporary biological wound coverage.

Properties of bentonite clay

Bentonite clay is a natural mineral with pronounced sorption properties.

Main properties:

  • absorbs toxins and wound exudate
  • has anti-inflammatory action
  • supports microcirculation in tissues
  • promotes wound cleansing

Due to the sorption properties of bentonite clay, necrotic tissues soften, making them easier to remove during wound treatment.

Indications for use

The dressing can be used for:

  • burns of II–III degree
  • wounds of various origins
  • trophic ulcers
  • diabetic foot
  • pressure sores
  • wounds complicated by infection

Method of application

  1. Open the sterile package.
  2. Apply the dressing to the cleaned wound surface.
  3. Secure with bandage or plaster.

The duration of the dressing on the wound is determined by the doctor depending on the condition of the wound, but should not exceed 48 hours.

The dressing is intended for external use.
