UWOIL Survival Matches — pyrotechnic ignition sticks Ø 12.5 × 60 mm that burn for about 30 seconds with a red flame 15–20 cm high. The composition contains its own oxidizer, so the flame does not go out in wind, rain, underwater, or in frost: wet wood, snow-covered grill, damp dry fuel — everything ignites. They light like a match — by striking the head against the scraper built into the bottle cap. Four sticks in a hermetic bottle.
For lighting campfires, stoves, grills, and dry fuel in any weather, as well as an emergency signal fire and light source for up to 30 seconds — for tourism, fishing, hunting, auto, and field conditions.
Can be used instead of a gas burner – burning temperature up to 1200 °C.
How it works
A regular match burns for 3 seconds, a storm match — up to 20. A sapper match — up to 30 seconds as a full torch that can light wet kindling, not just tinder. Red flame with thick white smoke is visible for hundreds of meters — so it’s also a signaling device, but for the same reason it’s not used where you can’t be seen.
Advantages
- 30 seconds of burning — one stick instead of a dozen matches
- Doesn’t go out in wind, underwater, in rain and at −30 °C
- Ignition on the striker on the lid — without a lighter
- Red torch 15–20 cm — emergency signal and light
- Hermetic vial, 4 pcs — in a pouch, glove compartment, emergency kit
Instructions for use
- Unscrew the cap, take out one stick, close the vial.
- Hold the stick by the end without the head in a glove, with an outstretched arm, flame away from you and downwind.
- Sharply strike the head against the striker on the inside of the cap and immediately direct the flame to the tinder.
- Let it burn to the end on a non-flammable surface — the stick cannot be extinguished.
- After burning, do not touch the body for 2 minutes; pour water over the used stick.

Safety
Pyrotechnic product, 18+. Use only in the open air — not indoors, tents, vehicles; not closer than 2 m to people, clothing, sleeping bags, fuel and cylinders. Produces dense smoke and bright light, visible from a distance — do not use where detection is unacceptable; do not inhale smoke. Remove sticks one at a time and close the bottle before igniting. Do not look directly at the flame, do not hold over your head, do not throw, do not extinguish. Do not disassemble, do not heat, do not use damaged or wet sticks. Keep away from heat, sparks, fire and impacts. Keep away from children.
Frequently Asked Questions
How are they different from storm matches?
Storm match — an enhanced match for 20 seconds. Sapper — a pyrotechnic stick for 30 seconds with a torch that is enough to ignite wet fuel without kindling. Storm matches do not burn underwater, sapper matches do not go out even underwater, in strong wind, etc
Can it be used in a bunker?
No. Burning with thick smoke — only in the open air.
Do they work after the bottle gets wet?
Sticks in a closed bottle are protected; they ignite against a dry striker. Wipe and dry the wet striker.
