MAMO DRONE “Prohriw” Battery Warmer for Drone Accumulator — chemical air-activated warmer 100×160 mm for heating UAV batteries (Li-ion, LiPo 4S–8S) before flight and maintaining their temperature in a thermal bag at the position. A cold battery delivers 30–40% less capacity and drops in voltage at startup; the warmer returns the pack to the operating range +20…+30 °C in 45–60 minutes without electricity, chargers and power banks.

Plateau of 45 °C is safe for lithium cells — the pack will not heat above +50 °C. Duration up to 3 hours: enough for heating before takeoff and maintaining heat between rotations. The same technology as in serial MAMO warmers for hands and body, in a format for FPV battery.

Instructions for use

1. Open the package directly before use — the warmer activates with air immediately and becomes warm within 10–15 minutes. Do not open the sachet itself.
2. Apply the warmer to the battery along its length; for heavy packages — two, on opposite sides. Secure with a bandage, tie, or tape.
3. Place the battery in a thermal bag or inner pocket. After 45–60 minutes the package is ready to start; in open air in frost — 1.5–2 hours.
4. Remove the warmer before installing on the drone. For in-flight heating — “Polit” warmer 100×130.
5. Monitor temperature by hand or with a thermometer sticker: the package should be warm, not hot. Dispose of used warmer with household waste.

How many warmers are needed. 1 warmer — pack up to 600 g (LiPo up to 5000 mAh, Li-ion 6S1P, Mavic/Autel). 2 warmers — Li-ion 6S2P, 6S3P and heavier (FPV 7–13″, bombers): one on top and one on the bottom of the pack.

For which batteries. Li-ion 4S–8S on 18650/21700 cells (6S1P–6S3P), LiPo 4S–8S, Mavic/Autel batteries — heating in a thermal bag. Not intended for heating in a closed drone compartment and for use in flight.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I leave the warmer on the battery during flight?
No. “Warm-up” is designed for a thermal bag: 70 g and unfixed shape interfere with flight. To maintain heat during flight — self-adhesive warmer “Flight” 100×130 (35 g).

Can you charge the battery while a warmer is on it?
No. Remove the warmer, make sure the package is warm but not hot (+10…+30 °C), and charge as usual.

Opened the warmer but postponed the flight. What to do?
The reaction lasts about 3 hours from the moment of opening. To slow it down, place the sachet in a sealed zip-bag and squeeze out the air; it is impossible to completely stop the reaction, so it is better to use the warmer to heat the next package.
