Collapsible silicone bowl 600 ml with rigid bottom, 85 g, folds down to 1.5 cm — a deep travel bowl that after eating compresses into a flat disk Ø 15 cm thick as a finger and fits into a backpack flap, a pot pocket or a tablet. The walls are made of food-grade silicone and fold accordion-style into three rings; the bottom is rigid, made of polyamide PA66, so the bowl stands on the ground, table or knee and doesn’t bend under a spoon like fully silicone ones. 600 ml is a serving of soup, porridge or pasta, a can of stewed meat with a side dish, salad for two or a bowl for mixing dough or washing berries. Instructions for use

1. Before first use, wash with warm water and dish soap.
2. Unfold: take by the edge and bottom and pull — three rings of the walls unfold and fall into place. Check that no ring remains folded inside.
3. Do not place food higher than the lower edge of the upper ring — this way the bowl stands stably and does not spill when held in your hands.
4. Hot soup can be poured in; hold the bowl with hot water by the bottom and rim, the walls will bend in the process — this is normal.
5. After eating, rinse and fold: press on the rim to the bottom — the rings fit into each other. Dry unfolded, then fold and place flat.

Grease and onion smell are washed off silicone with hot water and dish soap; if residue remains, wipe with baking soda. Do not cut in the bowl with a knife — silicone cuts. Do not place the bowl on a burner, stove, near a fire, and do not put in the oven: the polyamide bottom deforms from direct heat.

Safety

The bowl is not for cooking over fire and not for hot oil. You can pour boiling water, but a bowl with 600 ml of boiling water bends in your hands — place it on a level surface and hold it by the bottom. Do not let children chew it; the silicone is food-grade, but the handle and bottom are not designed for teeth. Do not store folded when wet — odor appears in the folds; water also remains in the folds after washing, so dry it unfolded. Keep away from open flame and hot surfaces.

Does the bowl collapse when eating?
No: the wall rings are fixed in the unfolded position, and the rigid bottom holds its shape. The bowl collapses only when pressed on the edge from above. Under the spoon and when carrying it, it stands like a regular bowl.

Can you pour boiling water?
Yes, silicone and polyamide can withstand boiling water. But place a bowl with hot food on a level surface and hold it by the bottom — the walls are soft and bend in your hands. You cannot cook in it over fire or place it on a burner.

Can it be used in a microwave?
Reheating food — yes, without metal utensils and not empty. For prolonged heating, a cauldron is better.

Does it absorb odor?
Quality food-grade silicone does not absorb odor and color if you wash the bowl immediately. Borscht and onions that have sat for a day leave a mark — hot water with baking soda removes it.

How much does it weigh compared to steel?
85 g versus 120–180 g in a steel or aluminum bowl of 600 ml — and those don’t fold. Plastic is lighter, but takes up just as much space when unfolded and cracks in the frost.
