Water spray restores water repellency of tents, awnings, ponchos, camouflage nets, covers and backpacks made of nylon, polyester, cordura and membrane fabrics. Water beads up and rolls off, the fabric doesn’t get wet or heavier, dirt doesn’t stick. PFAS-free, solvent-free and odorless, doesn’t compromise membrane breathability. A 700 ml bottle with trigger is enough for 12–20 m² — a tent for 2–3 people with extra coverage.

What for
Factory water-repellent tent coating wears away from sun, rain, folding and washing: water stops beading off, the tent gets wet, becomes heavier, dries longer, and dust and dirt get embedded in the fibers. MAMO impregnation restores this coating: a silicone film adheres to the fibers, water beads up and runs off, the fabric stays dry, light and breathable.
What to treat
– tents, awnings, tarps, ponchos, camouflage nets;
– backpacks, cases, pouches, bags made of nylon, polyester, cordura;
– membrane fabrics — the outer side is treated, breathability is preserved.
Do not use on skin, suede, wool, down, and footwear — for boots there is a separate impregnation for boots and equipment.
Application method
- Clean the product from dirt and rinse with water. Washing powders and conditioners interfere with fixation — after washing rinse thoroughly.
- Shake the bottle. Spray on a dry or damp product from a distance of 20–30 cm until evenly moistened, especially seams, ridge and points of contact with arcs.
- Remove stains on dark fabric with a damp cloth.
- Allow to dry for 12–24 hours. If possible, dry in the sun or with warm air — heat sets the coating.
- Update every season and after each wash. Before first application, test on an inconspicuous area.
Consumption
35–60 ml/m². One bottle is enough for 12–20 m²: a tent for 2–3 people (8–12 m² of tent fabric) — with extra for a rain cape or backpack; a large tent for 4–6 people — approximately one bottle.
Warnings
Do not use on leather and suede products. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse with water. Do not inhale aerosol; work in a well-ventilated area. Keep away from children. Contains a mixture of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1) — may cause allergic reaction. Store at +5…+25 °C, do not freeze.

Silicones 5–15%, cationic surfactants < 5%, non-ionic surfactants < 5%, propylene glycol < 5%, citric acid, preservatives (METHYLCHLOROISOTHIAZOLINONE, METHYLISOTHIAZOLINONE).

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the tent become completely waterproof? — Impregnation restores water-repellent properties of the fabric: water beads off, the material doesn’t get wet. It does not replace seam sealing and PU coating — seams are sealed with tape or sealant.
Can camouflage netting be treated? — Yes. The netting absorbs less water, remains light after rain and dries faster.
Does it change color or create shine? — No. Color and texture are preserved, no odor after drying. On very dark fabrics, test first on an inconspicuous area.
Can it be applied indoors? — Water-based formula without solvents allows working in a garage or on a balcony, but it’s a spray: use in a ventilated area, do not inhale the aerosol.
