per item:
Sawyer mini SP107 water filter – the lightest and most versatile personal water filtration system, Sawyer MINI weighs only 57 g, easily fits in the palm of your hand and provides absolute filtration down to 0.1 μm.
The filter removes 99.99999% of bacteria, including salmonella, cholera vibrio and E. coli, 99.9999% of protozoan microorganisms, including giardia and cryptosporidium, as well as 100% of microplastics.
The easy-to-use MINI filter can be attached to the drinking pouch included in the kit, used with the included straw tube for drinking directly from a water source, connected to a drinking system tube, or screwed onto standard disposable water bottles or carbonated beverage bottles.
The filter capacity is up to 378,500 L of filtered water. The award-winning Sawyer MINI is perfect for camping with children, hiking, traveling abroad where you can’t always trust tap or bottled water, as well as for stocking an emergency kit or disaster preparedness bag.
How it works
Absolute 0.1 μm filtration
Sawyer water filters contain a large number of miniature hollow U-shaped microtubes. They trap contaminants while allowing purified water to flow freely through the filter at high flow rates. This eliminates the need to store water for long periods and reduces the risk of recontamination after filtration.
Sawyer MINI is certified to filter down to 0.1 μm, meaning no opening in the filter material exceeds 0.1 μm. This prevents harmful bacteria, protozoan microorganisms and cysts, including E. coli, Giardia, Vibrio cholerae, Salmonella typhi and leptospirosis pathogens, from passing through the filter.
All Sawyer filters meet or exceed the contaminant removal standards recommended by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Features
Capacity up to 378,500 L
Sawyer MINI is designed to filter up to 378,500 L of water. Its filter membranes are durable enough to withstand backwashing with the included syringe plunger. This cleaning helps restore up to 98.5% of the filter’s flow rate.
The MINI filter can be cleaned and reused almost unlimited times. Expensive replacement cartridges are not needed. For optimal performance, it is recommended to rinse and disinfect the filter after each use in the field or while traveling.
Maximum versatility
Sawyer MINI is perfect for outdoor recreation, tourism, hiking, camping, scouting, domestic and international travel, as well as emergency preparedness.
Simply fill the reusable pouch from the kit with water from any source, screw the filter onto it and drink directly through the filter or squeeze the purified water into a bottle.
You can also drink directly from a water source using the included straw tube. For even more versatility, the filter can be screwed onto most standard disposable water or carbonated beverage bottles with 28 mm threads, and can also be installed inline with drinking systems sold separately.
High level of filtration
In addition to versatility and compatibility with most standard bottles and pouches with 28 mm threads, the Sawyer MINI filter provides a high level of water purification and has a longer lifespan than many other personal filters on the market.
Each Sawyer filter undergoes triple air testing before shipment from the factory to ensure that pathogens cannot pass through the filter fibers.
The total weight of the kit is only 57 g. The compact MINI along with the soft collapsible pouch takes up minimal space in your backpack and adds almost no weight to your gear.
