per item:
Spoon-fork with carabiner and bottle opener made of stainless steel, 14.8 cm, 33 g — a tourist spork made from a single sheet of food-grade stainless steel 420: a deep spoon with four short tines at the end, a handle with a finger notch, a wire carabiner, and a bottle opener on the end. One utensil instead of three: eat soup and porridge with the spoon, hook pasta, canned meat and meat with the tines, open a bottle with the hook and prop up a can lid, attach to a pot handle, backpack strap or bag strap with the carabiner — the spork doesn’t get lost and doesn’t lie at the bottom of the backpack with lids. Steel doesn’t melt near a burner, doesn’t break in frost like plastic, and doesn’t retain odor; the utensil washes in a pot and in a dishwasher. Length 14.8 cm — like a home table spoon, reaches the bottom of a 1 liter pot and a canned meat can; width 3.8 cm, weight 33 g.Spork — the first utensil for any kitchen from the section Thermoses, dishes and cutlery: placed in a pot together with foldable burner 3200 W and threaded cartridge 230 g, and in an emergency backpack — next to pocket stove and solid fuel UWOIL.
For whom

Advantages

- Food-grade stainless steel 420 — doesn’t melt, doesn’t break in frost, doesn’t retain odor
- Carabiner on the handle — attaches to a pot, backpack, pouch strap
- Deep spoon — soup and porridge don’t spill; short tines catch pasta and meat
- 14.8 cm — reaches the bottom of a 1 liter pot and canned meat containers
- 33 g, thickness of a single steel sheet — fits in the pot pocket and shirt pocket
- Washes in a pot and dishwasher; can stir food on a burner
- No plastic, rubber, or moving parts except the wire carabiner clip
Instructions for use
- Before first use, wash with dish soap and dry thoroughly.
- Eat with the spoon; catch pasta, meat, and canned meat with the tines at the end of the spoon.
- Open the bottle with the hook on the end of the handle; use it to pry open jar and can lids after cutting with a knife.
- To carry, attach with a carabiner to a pot handle, backpack strap, or pouch cord; place in the pot with the spoon facing down so the tines don’t scratch the coating.
- After eating, rinse and wipe dry, especially after salty and acidic food — steel 420 doesn’t like prolonged contact with salt.
You can use the spoon to stir food in a pot on a burner, but the handle is thin and heats up quickly — hold it by the edge with the carabiner and don’t leave it in the pot over fire. The carabiner is for carrying the tool, not for loading.
Safety
The tines are short and blunt, but steel — do not give to children under 3 years old, do not put in mouth with tines forward while moving. The hook-opener has a sharp edge: open bottles away from yourself, do not pry open cans without a cut. After stirring on the burner the device is hot — do not touch the spoon with your lips until it cools down. Do not clean with abrasive powders and metal brushes — scratches collect dirt; do not store a wet device in a closed case.

Frequently asked questions
Why is a steel skimmer better than a plastic one?
It doesn’t break in the frost or in a backpack, doesn’t melt if left near a burner or stove, doesn’t absorb the smell of canned meat and doesn’t get stained by borscht. Plastic is 20 g lighter and cheaper, but it’s a tool for one season; steel is for years.
Is it convenient to eat with a fork with four short prongs?
The teeth at the end of the spoon catch pasta, meat, pieces of potato and canned stew. You won’t be able to twirl spaghetti like with a regular fork — that requires long teeth, but the grabber has short ones so you can eat soup with the spoon.
Does it reach the bottom of the freeze-dried food package?
No. 14.8 cm is the length of a regular table spoon: enough for a pot up to 1 liter, a mug, a can of stew and a container. For tall packages you need a long grabber 20–22 cm.
Does it rust?
Steel 420 is stainless, but with less salt resistance than kitchen 304. If the utensil lies wet for a long time with remnants of salty food, spots may appear. Rinse it, wipe it — it serves for years.
What does it open?
Bottles with crown caps — hook on the end. Jar lids and tin cans — the hook lifts the lid after cutting with a knife; you shouldn’t try to fully cut the tin can with it.
Will the carabiner withstand the load?
This is a carabiner for carrying the device, not for equipment: for attaching a trap to a pot, backpack, pouch. You cannot hang anything heavier than a ladle on it.
