per item:
Gas cylinder threaded 450 g, all-season, butane-isobutane-propane — large cartridge with 7/16″ thread per EN 417 for a week of hiking, group, base camp, shelter with threaded burner or gas heater. A mixture of 50% butane, 25% isobutane and 25% propane maintains pressure from −23 to +35 °C — winter nights, mountains, spring outings. 450 g of gas — this is about two hours at full power of a 3 kW burner, three hours at 2 kW or 4–5 hours of heater operation at minimum: 16–20 boils of half a liter. Steel body Ø 110 × 150 mm, gross weight about 600 g, self-closing valve and protective cap. Lowest price per milliliter among threaded cylinders. Disposable, not designed for refilling.
Thread standard — for tourist burners, lamps and heaters that screw onto a cylinder; household stoves and burners with a collet lock do not work with it — for them there is collet cylinder 220 g. The same gas in smaller threaded cylinders — 100 g for one day and 230 g for the weekend. 450 g is taken when gas is used daily and does not need to be hidden in a pot: a tall cylinder is stable under a pot of 2–3 l, and the burner on it stands at table level.
For whom
- Units: one cylinder per unit per week for tea and heating on a threaded burner or heater
- Groups on a week-long hike: two to three hot meals per day for 3–4 people
- Base camp, mountaineers, winter expeditions: all-season mix for frost and altitude, supply for several days
- Car tourists, camping, fishing with overnight stay: cooking for the whole group without firewood
- Home in case of power outages: threaded burner or heater for one or two evenings from one canister
Benefits
- All-season mix with 25% propane — works from −23 °C
- 7/16″ EN 417 thread — fits all threaded burners, lamps and heaters
- 450 g — 16–20 boils of half a liter, 2–3 hours of burning, 4–5 hours of heater on minimum
- Cheapest per milliliter among threaded cylinders
- High stable body Ø 110 × 150 mm — for a 2–3 liter pot and heater
- Self-closing valve — unscrew an unfinished cylinder, screw on another
- Steel body, protective cap on the valve
Instructions for use
- Make sure the device regulator is closed. Remove the cap from the cylinder.
- Place the cylinder vertically with the valve facing up and screw on the burner, lamp, or heater clockwise until it stops — without effort, the thread goes in freely. Do not tilt.
- Open the regulator, ignite the device according to its instructions. Hold the cylinder vertically on a level surface; use a stand with “legs” under a heavy pot.
- After use, close the regulator, let the device cool down, unscrew the cylinder, put on the cap. The self-closing valve retains the remaining gas.
- Dispose of an empty cylinder with metal; do not throw into fire, do not puncture.
In winter, keep the cylinder warm before cooking: a warm cylinder provides full pressure immediately. During prolonged operation at full power, the cylinder cools significantly and pressure drops — place it in a bowl of cool water or take a break; do not heat near fire. The remaining amount can be estimated by weighing: an empty cylinder weighs about 150 g.
Safety
Pressurized canister, gas is extremely flammable. Do not heat above +40 °C, do not leave in the sun, in a car in summer, near a stove or heater; do not cover with a windscreen that reflects heat onto the canister. Do not puncture, disassemble, or burn even if empty. Do not refill. Change the canister only on a cold device, away from fire; when changing, brief gas release is possible — do not do this near an open flame. Use only with devices with EN 417 thread and only in a ventilated place — combustion produces carbon monoxide; do not cook in a tent, heater in a dugout — only with air intake. Store vertically, with a cap, away from fire, sparks and heating devices, inaccessible to children.

Frequently asked questions
Threaded or cartridge?
Threaded — for tourist burners that screw onto the top of canisters, lamps and heaters with threads. Cartridge 220 g — for household stoves in a case, folding Kovar burners and Torch attachments. Look at your device: 7/16″ thread — this canister, lever lock — cartridge.
How long does 450 g last?
For 16–20 boils of half a liter: a week for two with three hot meals a day, 3–4 days for a group of four, 4–5 hours of heater on minimum or 2 hours at full power.
Isn’t it too big for the burner?
No, the thread is the same, the burner screws on the same way. The canister is taller, so the pot sits higher and stability is less than with 230 g — put “legs” under a heavy pot or cook on a flat surface. The 450 g canister doesn’t fit inside the pot.
Does it work in frost?
Down to −23 °C thanks to 25% propane and isobutane. In frost, keep the canister warm before cooking; during prolonged use it cools down — a pause or a bowl of cool water restores pressure.
How do you know how much gas is left?
Weigh it: an empty 450 g canister weighs about 150 g, a full one — 600 g. The self-sealing valve allows you to unscrew and screw the canister back on as many times as you want.
Can it be refilled?
No. The cylinder is disposable, the valve and body are not designed for refilling.
